Who We Are
We are a group of Israeli women and men convinced that the military control over the Palestinian population and the settlement of the occupied territories are the two fundamental problems of the State of Israel. We work to change the situation for the benefit of all Palestinians and Israelis.
The Vision
Placing the necessity of ending the occupation and its injustices at the center of Israeli public discourse, while supporting efforts to establish a just peace.
Principles of Action
Group members participate in actions that serve the cause, taking personal responsibility. We work on protecting Palestinians, public protest, and media outreach.
The reality in the occupied territories and Israel requires activists to respond quickly and decisively to challenging events.
Looking the Occupation in the Eye collaborates with Palestinian, Israeli, and international bodies with a similar worldview.
Looking the Occupation in the Eye maintains its independence, insisting on political and economic non-dependence.
Looking the Occupation in the Eye members operate as volunteers. Policies and modes of operation are determined by the organization's leaders, in full transparency.
The organization and its activists are committed to non-violence.
